Celebrating the excesses

The Wolf of Wall Street is a 2013 American biographical comedy crime film directed by Martin Scorsese. The movies recounts Jordan Belfort's perspective on his career as a stockbroker in New York City and how his firm Stratton Oakmont engaged in rampant corruption and fraud on Wall Street that ultimately led to his downfall. The film grossed more than $392M worldwide during its original theatrical run and granted Leo DiCaprio a Golden Globe for best actor.

The almighty dollar

While keeping myself busy exercising in the theatrical landscape, I reckoned that the original movie title and graphic package wasn’t really addressing the multifaceted and complex nature of

its main character - Jordan belfort.

The proposal aims to provide a punchy representation of his devotion for excesses. Diluted with glimpses of greedy capitalism, drugs abuses and frauds the creativity objective was to describe the protagonist solitude and loneliness.
