Unmatched content selection
OSN launched GO Online TV in May 2014. The online service is currently the only OTT SVOD in the MENA region that outputs from the three major Hollywood studios: Disney, Paramount and Sony Pictures. Providing to local viewers unparalleled expertise and unrivalled distribution of Hollywood blockbusters, critically-acclaimed content.
Following the network rebranding successful collaboration, this project aimed to leverage the investment made in the OSN Play platform to launch the new service, striving to improve the viewer's experience, who are incredibly diverse in their habits and preferences.
Working closely with ECD Bethany Bunnel we agreed on a brand proposition that could sustain the differentiated service along with an experience strategy, tying these spaces together. The creative development target both the multifaceted nature of the service and the audience diversity, opening a window to the unmatched content selection.
Filling the gap
The creativity aimed to fill a clear gap in the MENA region. During the exploration phase alternative solutions were offered in order to perfectly match the dynamic brand vision. Leveraging both the service disruptive attitude and reliable offering.
The GO Online TV service was awarded the ‘Outstanding MENA OTT Initiative’ at the 2014 Broadcast Pro Middle East Awards as well as the 2015 Digital Studio Awards ‘Content Delivery Program of the Year’.
